Artist Statement – Kelley Heye

As an art student Kelley focused on Ceramics. Both functional and sculptural. After earning

advanced degrees in Fine Art, Kelley left the art world to focus on a career in advertising. It

wasn’t until the invention of the iPhone that she was able to get back to her art on a regular

basis. “My phone is always with me, it allows me to capture moments that would otherwise be

fleeting. I think of these small format snaps as windows into the beauty of life.”
