Jana Ašenbrennerová is a Czech photojournalist and writer. Her great passion is storytelling. She specializes in portraiture and social documentary while striving to portray emotions, intimate moments and the great variety of interactions between people.

In collaboration with nonprofit organizations (NGO), she documents humanitarian efforts all over the world. Jana is an explorer at heart and her most beloved adventures often deprive her of oxygen – be it swimming in the chilly waters of SF Bay or wandering around the Himalayas. She freelances for a variety of publications worldwide.
