About…

My very first camera a teeny little plastic thing, I got by mailing in a Wheaties cereal box top. I loved looking at the world through the lens. Cameras have gotten smaller over the years — I hope that soon they’ll be the size of the Whites box top camera.

I am often asked, “What do you photograph?” I never knew what to say until I read great photographer Gary Winogrand’s quote: “I photograph to see what the world looks like in photographs.” So I go move about the world, photographing it. The images in this show depicttwo places I love very much: New Mexico and San Francisco.
